Painted Furniture Ideas Nashville Flea Market

The Nashville Flea Market is a great place to find painted furniture ideas. I like to go to the market every month. Some of the vendors have beautiful painted furniture for sale. The furniture makeovers are perfection.

I promised more pictures from the Nashville Flea Market. I wrote a post last week on the January shopping trip and shared picture of things that caught my eye. On this trip I met a lovely lady from west Tennessee and she had some beautiful painted pieces. Her name is Debbie and she has a shop called Crabtree Corner! See what you think.

aren’t these to-die-for

I would never have thought to add two knobs on each dresser drawer….too crazy. But I like it!

I need to grab my green paint again. I used to use the color a lot. Maybe I got tired of it but this color is so soft!

And painted furniture from other trips and other vendors….

Isn’t this a beauty from Design Refurb. I’ve talked with Christen about his furniture makeovers before. He’s a nice guy and doesn’t mind sharing his paint secrets. I have “talented painters” envy. Yes, I admit it…and I also admit to just making up that term. I don’t know what else to call it. Some of these guys are true artists.

This piece is from Peachy Keen Boutique in Mayfield, Ky. The lovely young lady that painted this piece shared that she uses ASCP.

Debbie painted this metallic silver chair and I’m crazy about the finish and the fabric she chose for the seat. Click the photo below for all info about the flea market! Everything You Always Wanted To Know About The Nashville Flea Market Petticoat Junktion answers your questions

The flea market is very entertaining. You can find a bit of everything there. I usually just shop the outside vendors because that’s where all the good “junk” is. Inside there are a lot of new things and expensive, fancy antiques. Not for me.

Hope you guys enjoyed the post. Have you been to the Nashville Flea Market? If so, what did you like the best. If not, maybe you can plan a trip. Have a great day! Kathy

  1. Hi. At the top of this page there is a piece of furniture you painted. It’s a cabinet with 3 drawers on top and 3 drawers on bottom. Could you please give me some information on this? What’s it called, did it sell? I just purchased the exact piece!

  2. I’m hoping to visit the Nashville flea market in May. It’s over Memorial Day weekend. Do u think it will be busy or not many vendors there, due to the holiday weekend?

  3. Debbie, thanks for the comment. I love your painted furniture. Who needs to be computer literate when they work a paint brush so well!
