Thanks for stopping by. I love visitors. I'm Kathy and I live in Clarksville, Tennessee. I happily admit to being a junk addict. Some of my passions are; architectural objects,anything rusty, rhinestone jewelry, vintage hardware, and old wood furniture. I love, love, love, painting furniture! I use paint, fabric, paper, appliques, stencils, toners, etc. when restyling a piece of furniture. My favorite shopping spots are junk shops, flea markets, and salvage yards. I love sharing pictures of my junkin' trips. Come along for the ride. It's always fun!

By using special paints and specific techniques, these women are taking part in the mantra of today’s decor: reclaim, reuse, repurpose and re-imagine. They take furniture that may not look so chic — a set of old chairs or a dresser in a standard wood stain — and paint them in various shades to look as though their natural finishes.
