Ok, I promise this is the last post on organizing the Owen Workshop. Well, if I were to get some really awesome vintage storage pieces you might see another post.
I finally got all the boxes and baskets unpacked and things stowed away. That would be the boxes and baskets of stuff I hauled out of our spare bedroom/workroom. I don’t know how I ever got all that stuff in there. Yes I do. I had the closet covered floor to ceiling, cedar chests and tables loaded up, and as much as I could possibly get stuffed under the bed!
All of the storage items are from junk shops, flea markets, or auctions except for the wood shelf my husband built for me.
Furniture in-waiting stacked in the floor and one piece sitting in front of the garage door on a drop cloth waiting to be painted.
These tins are so cute!
I’m using them to store furniture wheels, knobs from Hobby Lobby, and assorted chains.
I’m looking for a large wood bin with lots of cubby holes, the kind you used to see in hardware stores, but I haven’t found one yet.
I got all these cola crates at the Nashville Flea Market to store my old hardware and the rusty treasures I’ve collected. These pieces are pretty heavy and the crates work great.
My sweet husband put up all this pegboard so I could hang my tools and craft stuff.
Hubby organizing his tools and stuff.
This is the play area. It’s great for the grandkids and us adults too. We still have a few things to add here.
I love our workshop. I have a big area to paint in and we can move things around in the shop if we need to.
I wanted the walls left unpainted and the concrete floors as they are. You know me, I’m a messy painter. I didn’t want to worry about messing anything up.
I feel much better now that I’m organized. On to painting!
Thanks for stopping by,
