Another fun Paint and Play Workshop day with Petticoat Junktion and You Never Know.
I love it when we have customers bring a piece of furniture in and paint it with us.
Coming up with a plan for the furniture makeovers and selecting paints is one of my favorite things.
But the best part of the day are the smiles.
Smiles when we meet….smiles when we’re painting……smiles when we’re enjoying lunch together….and smiles at the end of the day when the finished projects are oohed and aahed over.
This is Debbie with the curio she brought in, minus glass and mirrors. No need in hauling that stuff around and taking the chance of it breaking.
Irene with her thrifty find that’s been in her garage for awhile.

I think Debbie was happy with her piece. What a beautiful smile. She chose Reclaim paint in Sage and then did some distressing with the electric sander. She finished the piece with dark wax.
I love this finish. I’m all about some distressing.
Irene sanding on her table.
Such a cute little table. Irene chose Caromal Colours Country Living Paint in Mustard. She finished her piece with a neutral wax that adds protection and patina.
Close up of this beauty.
