Ta Dah !!!!
This is my cedar chest I told you about in Here’s The Plan.
It’s so much nicer than I thought it would be.
Do I not have faith in myself?
Yeah, I do, but you never know for sure how your painted furniture piece will turn out.
If you’re just painting it black or white and not doing any special techniques then it’s pretty well a given what the outcome will be.
When you’re working with specialty paints and finishes, it’s a different story.
For this project I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Boxwood.
I will be posting a tutorial tomorrow on how to achieve this look.
update Feb. 19, here is the tutorial I promised How I painted a cedar chest using Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.

Very pretty, Kathy! I like the color.
Love it.
I’m still getting up the nerve to try out my green paint, I’m getting braver, and am thinking I will try it SOON! Good job!
The Boxwood is great, don’t wait!!
I love the color. Green is my happy color! Great job. I found you at MMS!
thanks Erica, This is my first time to use the Boxwood and I love it.
LOVE it! Beautiful color!
I love the way this looks!
I have never used Miss Mustardseed paint – no where close to buy it, but I need to find some.
Love, love, love your box. I have something similar that I might try updating.
Carol, I sell the paint on-line. I have a Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint tab on my top tab bar and also a picture to click on the very top right sidebar. I love the milk paint, so easy to use.
Very pretty! I love the color.
GORGEOUS.
