Green,
the color of nature
It’s one of my favorite colors. Ya’ll probably think it’s the only paint I have in stock. Ha! I do keep a well stocked paint cabinet, I just happen to be partial to green. Next month my favorite color might be maroon, but let’s hope not.
I found this piece of loveliness at the Nashville Flea Market last month. She is in great condition and I love the design. I’ve never had a piece quite like this one. The original mirror is icing on the cake.
The color is a mixture of paints I have on hand.
Love the details on the feet.
The glass knobs came from Habitat Restore.
Do you like the green? Do you like this piece? Are you green with envy? Sorry, I just had to say it!

Hi Kathy…this chest is fabulous… Love it
. Julie
This is so pretty. I love the name of your blog… so creative! Hue's name is cool too! I'd love for you to post this on my link party at http://www.doodlesandstitches.com/2012/06/fabulous-friday-link-party-5.html I noticed you're in Clarksville and I live (not too far away) in Collierville outside of Memphis. I hope you have a great weekend!
Green with Envy! It is a show stopper!
I think it is a terrific piece! Love the mirror! The green is very cheery too.:) I am your newest follower. I hope you can visit me sometime
Also, I would love if you could come by and link this up at my Linky party called Rustic Restorations Weekend. http://homespunhappenings-tammy.blogspot.com/2012/06/rustic-restorations-weekend-linky-party.html
Wow! It's gorgeous! What a great color, and I love the clever “Hue had me at hello…” It's brilliant!
Beautiful piece with such lovely details! The mirror is a sweet touch! And I do love it in green! I'd find a spot for this in my house in about two seconds flat!
Beautiful color choice.
I have several pieces from the same era as your chest–they were my grandmother's and I just can't bring myself to paint them despite the aging finish. I need to get over it, they're not fine antiques!
Love the mirror, this piece makes me smile, I love it.
Anne
