Hey, It’s Saturday Night
I worked hard today. I finished up this project then went to the shop and redid my booth. For you guys who have never had a booth, let me tell you, it is hard work. You can’t just throw your stuff in a space and think it’s going to sell. No, there’s a little more to it than that. I’ve learned a lot in the past 6 years about setting up and staging a booth but I have soooo much more to learn. It’s not easy and design and decorating do not come naturally to me. I did get it finished today and it does look so much better!!
I might share some pictures of my booth tomorrow but for now I have more painted frames and mirrors.
I did a post on my green and turquoise frames and mirrors makeover a couple of days ago.
I chose white for this project and added burlap accents. I love burlap, it’s a neutral accent and so easy to work with. The large antique mirror and some of the frames are from My Favorite Junk Shop.
I painted everything white and then lightly distressed by hand. I used some dark wax on the large antique mirror.
I love, love, love, highly detailed frames. They look great distressed.
What do you think. Do you like the burlap. Would love to hear from you. Have a great weekend.

I love detailed frames..one of my favorite things! You did a great job–I love the burlap accents. You are right, that kind of thing draws shoppers I am sure!
I'm a frame addict, so I love this. I had spaces in malls years ago, and it is hard work. Doing a show is a hand full too. It's all about the art of display.
I'm a little obsessed with frames too – actually as I'm typing this I realize hell, I'm a little obsessed with absolutely everything lol
Great job Kathy – and yes white and burlap are a match made in heaven
Hugs,
Suzan
So pretty! I'm seriously looking around my house thinking where of where can I hang a bunch of empty frames painted all the same color … with some burlap bows of course!

Love the frames. I am in the process of painting all my frames in my house. Love how yours turned out. The burlap is a nice touch. I think I have some in my stash and thinking of pulling it out and using it. I see a lot of burlap things lately that are so cute!
Nice-I've put my own paintings in gold and black frames for a long time but his opens up a new world. Really love the look of those distressed frames-now I'll have to see how they look with paintings in them.
Oh…Please do share photos of your booth!! I have just started one too and need help!!! having worked retail most my life I know how important presentation is…but it's not easy!! You did a wonderful job eith your frames!
