    Seashell Crafts with Sisal Rope

Seashell Flower Art Petticoat Junktion Seashell Crafts Tour

    Seashell Flower Art

I’m not sure it’s art….but that’s what I’m calling it. Who doesn't love sisal rope! It's my new fav diy product.

Welcome to our Seashell Crafts Tour.

    Seashell Crafts Tour Logo

I’m getting my craft on with seashells and I invited 11 of my blogging friends to join in the fun.

    The more inspiration….the better!

    My craft is soooo simple.

    Here’s what I did.

First of all…I couldn’t decide what to make.

I started out with stencils, paint, a blue board.

Well that didn’t work…. so moving on.

I placed a few shells on a reclaimed wood board and grabbed the hot glue gun.

Next I added the sisal rope as a stem.

And finished it off with a pop top hanger.

shells, wood board, sisal, pop top tab, hot glue, 5 minutes….that’s it

    I bought my  sisal rope at Home Depot {affiliate link}

Most of my seashells were collected on beaches in Florida.

The one-eyed Lobster is a souvenir from Maine.

One of the grandchildren got a little rough with “Red”.

    Now he’s “One-Eye Red”.

Time to see what my friends made!

      Kathy,
This is so adorable! I would have never thought to make a flower with the shells. I could so see this in a little girls nursery!

Kathy, I know the feeling.I stressed over what I was making too. I love the flower idea, especially with the "pop" hanger. I can see making a whole bunch of flowers on a driftwood board. Pretty!
