I refreshed the wreath in the photo above by adding new flowers from the Dollar Tree and ones I had in my stash. The sun faded the brightly colored flowers.

The photo above shows how the wreath looked when I hung in on our front door back in May. I loved the yellow and pink color combo, but now the wreath looks a little sad.

I left the wreath hanging on the front door and pulled the pink flowers out!

This is what I had left. The dried-looking hydrangeas in pale pink and blue look like Fall colors, so I left those in. I also left the faded yellow “ball” flower stems from Dollar Tree in the wreath.

I bought the white sunflowers at Michaels when I went to a Doctor’s appointment in Nashville. There is a Michaels store in the same building, and I shop the sales anytime I’m in the area.
The flower stems were 50% off, so I bought two of he bushes. Yay! I thought the white sunflowers were unique-looking. There were also some cream colored ones but they just looked dirty to me.
I cut the flowers from the stems with wire cutters and used my battery-powered glue gun to adhere them to the wreath. I love this glue gun—no worries with cords or plugins.

And…..ta-dah. It probably took 10 minutes to redo the wreath. All the time it was hanging on the door.

Looks like Fall to me!

I finally got my mum’s and pumpkins for the season. Only a little late. I’m just not feeling it these days. How about you guys? I have low energy and no get-up-and-go.

So, what do you think of the refresh and do you like the white sunflowers?
