Handmade Christmas ornaments are my favorite type of ornaments. They usually have a story. I love a good story.

Christmas trees make me smile. I canโ€™t help it; they just do. Even the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. In the last couple of years, Iโ€™ve made a few ornaments for the tree. They hang alongside my collection of vintage Shiny Brite ornaments.

The Christmas tree ornaments are featured in this month’s Country Sampler’s Christmas Decorating special edition. I made the ornaments last year.

I had a collection of vintage cards, and I also ordered more from eBay. The vintage cards have so much character. The ornaments can be put together in minutes. This would be a great project for the kids. If you donโ€™t have any vintage cards, just use new ones!

  1. Since I have a great love for anything “snowman”, I love the canning jar lid snowman. He is just gonna shine on my tree. That white will pop on the green branches.
