The Nashville Flea Market is a shoppers’ paradise. You can find everything from new socks to antique furniture.
On my shopping trip in April, I made one awesome purchase. I also took photos of different things you can find at the market. Enjoy…
The first thing I noticed walking from the parking lot to the market buildings was the sculpture being installed at the flea market entrance. It is an amazing piece.
I had to investigate the piece. I found this info online…
Loqui, designed by sculptor and public artist Blessing Hancock, is a monumental, 32 x 32 ft illuminated megaphone-shaped sculpture. It employs a sophisticated lighting system that will illuminate The Fairgrounds at night— enlivening the surrounding area with color patterns that play against the surface of the sculpture.
The work is a testament to Nashville’s rich storytelling history and culture. Loqui, meaning “to speak” in Latin, will invite public interaction and incorporate words from local community members into the sculpture.
I would love to see the sculpture lit up at night!
This was my first stop at the market.
And I purchased the framed landscape painting for $30. I love the pop off colors here and there in the scene. The frame was a little beat up but there was no way I could pass it up.
The old tin buckets and gas cans speak to me, too, but I passed on them.
What a sweet picture! When I visit the market, I take many photos and share them on my Nashville Flea Market Pinterest Board. My board is the “official Pinterest Board” for the flea market. They contacted me several years ago to ask if they could link to the board from the flea market website. Follow the Pinterest board here.
Metal letter signs are still in style. This vendor has a variety of signs to choose from.
Rusty metal and old wood are two of my favorite things. I’m also a big fan of green.
A look down one of the open sheds.
Old theater seats.
I really don’t know what to say about this booth. I love the rusty metal turquoise display pieces, though.
A lot of bling and small collectibles.
Old books are great decor fillers.
I love this sweet girl, “The Preacher’s Daughter.” She has many amazing vintage items. You can find her on Facebook here.
You guys know how I love green. The stool was calling my name but I passed it up.
I also like orange…..moe rusty metal pieces.
I was scared to ask the price on the shop bin. It’s a great piece.
Another shed.

Another shed view.
This vendor is set up in the outdoor space next to the market building.
As the weather warms up there will be more vendors at the market.
Vintage radio and handmade cabin.
The buildings are large, with plenty of vendor space, large walkways, numerous restrooms, and a cafeteria.
Nothing says Nashville like guitars….oh, and cowboy boots.
This beautiful lady has some great spices.
Plaid flannel shirts are in.
Empty vendor spaces.
What does a green stop sign mean?
