1. Blow Molds

Christmas decorations

Nothing says Christmas like vintage blow molds. The molds are really pricy now and usually hard to find, but last year, this vendor had several of them.

2. Jewelry

You would not believe all the bling at the market. There is handmade, new, mass-produced, vintage, and antique jewelry.

3. Vintage Silver Plate

I love vintage silver plate. There are so many ways to display the pieces or to repurpose them. These pieces are lovely. The etching on the tall piece is beautiful.

4. Vintage Christmas Ornaments

Christmas Ornaments

Vintage Shiny Brite ornaments can usually be found in abundance at the market. The prices are usually reasonable but sometimes get a little crazy.

5. Cow Skull Décor

Animal skulls and horns seem to be all the rage in certain design circles. It’s not for me but I do like the snowshoes.

6. Galvanized Buckets

Galvanize buckets are perfect for displaying pretty flowers. The minnow bucket is cool, although missing its lid.

7. Tupperware

Do they still have Tupperware parties? I’m getting close to 70 and I remember those parties. This vendor at the flea market had a lot of pieces.

8. Vintage furniture pulls

This booth is one of my favorites. Since I paint furniture, I’m always on the lookout for old furniture pulls.

9. Animal Print Backpacks

There is a large variety of backpacks, purses, and totes in all shapes, sizes, and designs. How do you feel about animal prints? Are they still in style?

10. Rocks and Crystals

The rocks and crystals are so colorful. Some people believe crystals have healing powers, and others keep a crystal in their pocket for luck.

11. Homemade jam

Oh wow! I love jam on a crispy piece of toast. You can find homemade fudge and pastries at the market too.

12. Old Pottery

These pieces are great for decorating. Some old crocks and urns are worth a lot of money, depending on the condition.

  1. Aw, I would have gone into the Snakemobile! You should have – you could have made a new snek friend! Bleblele

  2. Hi Kathy:
No, I would not go in the Snakemobile, but you made me laugh. At our local flea market near Chicago recently I was struck by how much creepy stuff was there— cow skulls, stuffed pheasants, scary dolls, odd masks, etc., and I even made an Instagram post about it. But at least we didn’t have snakes! Glad you enjoyed though.
