    How To Make Pop Top Tab DIY Project Hangers

    Good Morning! I don’t have any pretty pictures today….just a heads-up for you. But I am sharing a simple, inexpensive, project tip.

    Pop Top DIY Hangers Petticoat Junktion

    Ya’ll know what these guys are right? Yep, Pop Top Tabs from soda cans.

    I use them as hangers for some of my diy projects. Using reclaimed or junk stuff that usually goes to the land fill is what I love to do. Sometimes finding a use for what I collect is a challenge.

    The tabs have a small hole that a screw fits into perfectly. You can see the hole part in the first photo. I use the tabs on my reclaimed angels, which I haven’t made any of in a long time.

    Most of us drink a canned soda or two occasionally or maybe you have friends that would save them for you. {the things in the corners are wall protectors} You get to see the front of the project tomorrow. I finished, or thought I finished the project today but when I hung it on the wall and started taking photos I wasn’t happy. I went back to the workshop and made a couple of changes, so if all goes well I’ll get photos today and share tomorrow.

    {update on Feb. 23, 2015- added photo above of finished project}

    By the way…..we got snow….probably 5 or 6 inches. The JTS is the one that watches the weather 24/7 and keeps up with that stuff. Thanks for sharing your weather stories and SNL comments on the post yesterday.

    I love reading your comments. They make my day.

    I was going to get photos of the snow but it was darn cold out there. I didn’t have college classes and they’re cancelled today too. I have a lot of home work to catch up on.

    See you tomorrow,

        Where do you live? I am in Northern VA. Just a little snow here. Ice is awful.
