I found the candle holder at the junk shop.

And I painted it with my new fav paint color….Heirloom White.

Then distressed all that lovely detail.

The vintage green plate is from a set I purchased at the thrift store a couple of years ago. The set wasn’t a full set….just odds and ends. I display the dishes in my china cabinet and use them at Christmas time for appetizers and such.

E6000 project Petticoat Junktion

I used E6000 to glue the plate to the candle holder.

I had to make these cookies just for the photo shoot. Then I had to eat them. I managed to only eat 6 the day I made them……hey….they were small. Good thing the granddaughters came over next day and finished them off.

The cookie stand turned out so darn cute I use it everyday as décor. The small plate on top is a piece I picked up at the Nashville Flea Market. The colors are beautiful and go perfectly with the green plate. I think it’s cute to hide in the cabinet. What do ya’ll think about it? Let me know. I read all of your comments.

Now it’s time to take the tour.
