I finally got around to taking photos of my tree and other Christmas decorationsโnothing like waiting until Christmas night to write this post.
Merry Christmas to you and I hope your Christmas was everything you wished it to be.
I took these photos without any extra lighting, so they are not the best, but editing like crazy helped. Enjoy!
I was super happy with the tree this year. I decorated it with my shiny brite ornaments but not as heavily as usual. I had dozens of ornaments left in my tote.
The tree is one we bought at Kmart many years ago. It has clear and colored lights, and I can set them to change from clear to colored or have them set to clear or colored. That was clear as mud, right?
I bought new wrapping paper this year too and went more muted with the reds and greens.
This china cabinet and hutch sits in our family room and I decorate it every year for Christmas.
The vintage Putz houses I purchased at an estate sale.
These two are sitting on the bookcase.
My little house with the deer I bought at the junk store.
A combination of some of Christamas and junk stuff on the mantel.
This Christmas stocking was made by Ms Evie out of an old quilt.
The brass sleigh and reindeer are a must for Christmas. The hubby purchased them in Korea about 35 years ago.
I didn’t do much with the mantel and fireplace this year.
A look at the kitchen bar area covered with paper goods, canisters filled with homemade candy, and more junk.
The China cabinet in the dining area is filled with my Spode Christmas dishes (all bought at a deep discount after Christmas over the years) and other pretty stuff.
It used to take hours for me to get everything just perfect in the cabinet but now I put it here and there in about 30 minutes.
Not a very good photo of the display on our dining table but I set it up like this every year. Sometimes I change out the tablecloth.
A few things on the kitchen counter. I didn’t even make any spiced cider this year in my teapot.
One of two Christmas decor purchases I made this year is the naughty pillow. It says nice on the opposite side but this side fits me better. I paid $10 for it at the antique/vintage store. I love red.
Another look at the tree.
And another. What can I say? I do love this tree, and I did a bang-up job! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Thanks for being here, Kathy

Your tree is lovely, and I particularly like the tabletop display with cake stands. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you for posting and sharing your cozy, holiday home. I don’t think it was late; I believe that Christmas is more than just a day. Not only in the meaning and spirit, but winter just began and we need lights and sparkles to brighten up the darkness. I just hung up some of my baubles last night (Christmas), I don’t always comment, but I read and appreciate every post. Thank you for sharing with us. I wish you and your family blessings in the new year!
