Make A White Wreath For Spring
Hey! It’s not junk day, it’s dollar store day. Budget minded as always. I bought a few things from the Dollar Tree to make a white wreath for Spring and Summer decorating. The dollar tree is one of my favorite stores. You can’t beat everything for a dollar or less.
White Wreath
I don’t know about you guys but I’m always happy to see Spring. Warmer weather makes me want to open shades, windows, doors……..and drag the sunshine in. I can’t always do that but I can replace my dark winter décor with light colored items. I have junk treasures stashed in closets, drawers, etc., and I use that stuff to decorate with along with a few new inexpensive items.
I made the white wreath using 3 items from the Dollar Tree and a bit of spray paint. I bought 3 small willow wreaths…….
……a white flower bush, and white satin ribbon. See a trend here?
I spray painted the wreath using Rustoleum Satin Heirloom White spray paint. One of my favorite spray paint colors.
Next I used wire cutters to cut single stems from the flower bush.
I stuck one flower stem into each wreath.
Then I cut a long length of white ribbon and tied it around the top of the painted wreath.
I made the white wreaths to hang in the “granddaughters bedroom”. The ribbon serves as the hanger. I looped the ribbon around one curtain clip and tied a single bow.
Ta-dah! Simple, fast, and sweet.
I hung two of the wreaths over the curtains and saved one to hang over a mirror. Wreaths and mirrors are the perfect combination. Picture to follow soon.
The white wreaths look perfect against the soft white curtains. White on white love.
Leave a note and tell me if you have a favorite dollar store and what you think of my wreath then head out on the tour with me. Just click the pink text links below the photo.

Love them and I bet your grand daughter does too! Spring has been coming and going down here! It’s cool today!
Your wreaths look adorable ?‼️ I have a large grape vine wreath I’ve had for at least 35 years‼️‼️‼️ I’ve decorated it for seasons after seasons?‼️ From the front door to a huge mirror, to over the fireplace and just on the wall‼️‼️ I did buy some small ratan colored wreaths at Dollar Tree and I may just paint them after seeing your good ideas??‼️
I sure do like those curtains, Can you tell me what fabric they’re made from?
Such a sweet wreath! Im going to try this in my oldest’s room. One over each window!
Understated and elegant!
Okay, I had to giggle a little bit – your showing spring crafts while wearing what looks like a long sleeve flannel shirt! Must still be cold there.
So light and Spring-y!
Sweet wreaths Kathy! They look great in your granddaughter’s room!
