Champagne Paint color for Pumkins
Okay everyone, I have a new favorite spray paint color……champagne! I first noticed the champagne paint color when I was shopping at Hobby Lobby. They stocked the store with Christmas décor a while ago and a lot of the decorations are a champagne color. I saw several small accent trees in the color and all kinds of stuff! I have to admit I fell in love.
So what did I do? I found some spray paint in that color so I could make my own decorations instead of buying new.
I tried the paint out on one of my recently purchased white pumpkins.
The color is Champagne Mist from Rust-Oleum. I used Frog Tape to mask off the areas of the pumpkin I didn’t want painted. The project was completed in minutes! I love spray paint.

The paint is a metallic but not an overbearing metallic. Does that make sense? You can see the finish is a little softer than the regular metallic paint.
I’m going to paint a lot more pumpkins when the pumpkin patch opens. I also bought a can of gold spray paint. It’s a soft metallic too. I can’t wait to give it a try!

Ha, love how you painted this pumpkin Kathy! I’m a rust-oleum girl all the way when it comes to spray paints so I’ll be keeping my eyes open for the Champagne color.
