Metallic Mania!
That’s what I’m calling it.
I have a crazy, gorgeous, over-the-top, metallic paint makeover for you today.
My painting pals got together and decided March was the month for Metallic Themed Furniture.
And I’m fine with that because I love using metallic paint….especially metallic silver paint.
Isn’t she a beauty.
I know.
Patting myself on the back again.
I’m good at that
The table came from My Favorite Junk Shop.
I got a little playful this time.
Polka dots are such fun.
I tried to get just the right number with out overdoing it.
I also played up the flaws in the table.
The inspiration for this project came from a scrap board that I use when spray painting hardware.
At one time I spray painted something a dark brown…….. then another time I painted some round knobs with metallic silver spray paint…..and that’s what caused the brown circles.
Every time I walked by that board in the workshop, it caught my eye.
So this table was the guinea pig for the metallic paint and polka dots.
I paired it with my favorite chair and a shiny coffee urn filled with greenery and flowers (fake) for the photo shoot.
The urn also came from My Favorite Junk Shop and only cost $5.
$5 seems to be my magic number these days.
I plan to post a full tutorial with all the paint details next week.

Think the polka dots would be great in a teens room or recreational family room. Connie
