So glad you took time out of your weekend to take a look at my Diy Window Chalkboard.
The Junktion Technical Specialist working on the window frame I found at My Favorite Junk Shop this week.
I brought home lots of good things from my junkin’ trip this week.
I’ll be sharing my finds soon.
Anyway, the frame was a little loose in places so it had to go through rehab.
My ever handy JTS cut a board for the window frame and attached it using a nail gun.
Don’t know what I would do without this guy
I painted the backboard with Rust-Oleum Chalkboard paint.
I always use the brush on kind.
I found a little hardware pull in my stash, painted it green, screwed it on the top of the frame, and added a bag of chalk.
A little extra touch so your chalk is always handy.
This is a really simple craft project…..really!
I staged the photo in what is known as the granddaughter’s bedroom at our home.
This is where she spends her time when she comes over.
The granddaughter decided the chalkboard should stay in her room permanently.
I guess I want be taking it to the shop.
So do you think Diy Window Chalkboards are cool?
I like the separation created by the window panes.
