You can get very creative when upcycling old aquarium stands or fish tank stands. The hubby and I have used barnwood, reclaimed tabletops, salvaged wood from build sites, and even old swing seats to make unique tops and shelves for the iron aquarium stands.
I find the aquarium bases at thrift stores and junk shops and the prices are usually very reasonable. Keep your eye out for similar pieces and personalize a table for yourself. Aquarium Stand Upcycles

You've got my mind racing-I live in a thrift semi-desert, but I've seen a few tables like like this, and wooden ones too. Can't wait to try my hand at upcycling my own!
