It's important to change the decor in your home with the seasons. I think this is especially true for Summer. Make your decor simple and fresh. A unique take on wreath decor. Decorate a simple Dollar Tree wreath and hang it from a ribbon. Painting a cardboard drink tote to use as a picnic caddy or utensil organizer is a great repurpose idea. Tulips are associated with Spring but can be used in Summer decor. Add metal pieces to the wreath for added drama. Stenciling is my favorite go-to for adding design to my decor. I can't freehand paint and I'm not an artist but stenciling is easy if you just know the proper technique. This project takes a little more time and work but it is a one-of-a-kind look.
